Even after the tragic 2019 fire, which ravaged its roof and spire, the cathedral continues to radiate strength and beauty. The ongoing restoration is not just about rebuilding—it’s a revival of faith, art, and history. Inside Notre-Dame, light and shadow tell their own story. Sunbeams filter through stained glass in soft blues and golds, painting the stone walls and floors with living color. Candles flicker in quiet chapels, while the great rose windows scatter a kaleidoscope of light across the vaulted ceilings.
